It was set up as part of the Abidjan Transport Project of the Compact, a grant from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), to transfer a new approach to infrastructure asset management to C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire. It enables professionals to make sustainable choices in materials, design and construction practices, minimizing the environmental impact of road infrastructure and promoting long-term sustainability.<\/p><p>It teaches them to prioritize projects at network level, taking into account factors such as economic profitability and environmental and social impacts. It provides them with the knowledge and skills needed to optimize maintenance budgets to achieve the best performance by minimizing costs (including user costs) and maximizing the life of infrastructure assets.
